The Laguiole knife, blade only (without corkscrew) or 1-piece model, requires an average of 109 manufacturing operations. The aesthetics are refined with a regular general shape, a curve and light curves. This model was created in the 1830's by mixing a local knife called "capuchadou" and a knife of Spanish origin called "navaja".

Forged bee with spring. Hand chiselled spring. Blade with stop (the cutting edge does not hit the bottom of the spring). Handle slightly curved for a better grip. Abalone handle with ebony interlayer. Comes with a storage box.
