Forged bee with spring. Hand-chiselled spring. Blade with stop (the cutting edge does not hit the bottom of the spring). Slightly curved handle for a better grip. The porcelain handle is made from 75% waste from recycled porcelain deposits. The porcelain reflects a luminous ivory colour embellished with bits of porcelain.

The handle of a Laguiole knife in mammoth ivory is fragile. You need to be careful with it. The Damascus steel of our blades is manufactured in our old forge in Laguiole. You can visit this forge all year round. This knife comes in a collector's box.
