The Laguiole knife, blade only (without corkscrew) or 1-piece model, requires an average of 109 manufacturing operations. The aesthetics are refined with a regular general shape, a curve and light curves. This model was created in the 1830's by mixing a local knife called "capuchadou" and a knife of Spanish origin called "navaja".

Our Laguiole knives with a welded bee feature a machine-chiselled spring and a thin handle. For children up to the age of 12, we recommend the 10 cm Laguiole (handle length).
