• Free presentation of the knife, followed by a discussion. (30 min.)
  Comfortably seated in an lecture room, you will attend a presentation-discussion on the knife. A professional will tell you all about the Laguiole knife : its history and evolution through ages, the care and criteria for a good quality knife.

• Free workshops guided tour. (30 min.)
  You will visit our workshops and talk to the cutlers present there. A specialist from the company will explain the stages of the making of a Laguiole knife and will answer your questions.

• Presentation of the models and the shops in Laguiole

• Knife Museum
  If you wish to, you can continue by a visit of the Laguiole knife, cutting objects and cutting tools museum.

Visit the forging mill

We organise on demand visits of the forging mill : you will discover the manufacturing of the metal and brass pieces composing the knife : blades, springs, plates, bolsters, ...

La Coutellerie de Laguiole allows the groups and individuals to discover the manufacturing and history of the Laguiole knife. Thus, in 2005, the cutlery welcomed over 700 coaches.
